Conversation

Image
I believe this can go into my photodiary. I'm about to write somewhat of an ode to conversation. (Not literally a poem, because I'm horrible at those). I once wrote about trying to figure out the art of conversation in one of my earlier blogs. I can't say that I know how to do it now, but I think I honestly have improved -- or perhaps I haven't, but now I've just gained a stronger appreciation for successful conversations. I bring this up because today (I say today, but actually mean yesterday because it's 3:56 AM!), I conducted that very thing -- a successful conversation. It was with one of the guys in my psychology class with whom I don't speak very often, but we had the same train destination and so some sort of communication had to be had between us, lest it be awkward and uncomfortable (which at first it was). a train in my city's main train station We, at first, sat in the aforementioned uncomfortable silence, but I am very averse to suc...

Roaming

Incidentally, it's been observed once or twice that I'm actually sort of good at this photography thing. I know it doesn't take particular expert skill, just a good eye, a knack for angles, and a decent camera, but it still makes me wonder...

A Photo Diary; or Another Stab at Real Blogging.

Image
Almost a month ago, it was my 17th birthday. Being from the UK, 17 is quite a useless age, unless you intend to drive, which I don't, but it did take me that one year closer to liberation. Freedom. Independence. I'm not going to hyperbolise and suggest that I've always been a free soul and begin to whine about our culture's late maturity age. It would make for an interesting blog post, but it wouldn't be truthful. I can't remember how long I've felt the need to be free, to explore. I'm certain that it has developed intensely through my teenage years, which probably has something natural to do with adolescence, but a foggy part of my memory recalls me always being like this. Wanting to see new places, wanting to climb into the most awkward spots to see something wonderful or even just to see it from a different perspective.  I don't know. But anyway, inspired by Nirrimi's blog , I've decided to start my own photo diary. It won't be as ...
